Why: On June 22, 1999, the Supreme Court held in Olmstead v. L.C. that the segregation of people with disabilities is discrimination, and that people with disabilities have the right to live, work, and thrive in the community. Approaching the 20th anniversary of this monumental decision, we can point to progress and success—but there is still work to be done and conversations to be had. Learn what's working, what's needed, and how you can promote inclusion where you live, work, and play.
Panelists include service providers and consumers from SVILC-San Jose, CID-San Mateo, The Kelsey and Stanford Law School
