Even in high-tech Silicon Valley, we all need to go some place to get proper care and treatment thru special personnel and/or equipment. For these needs, one must go to a facility known as a hospital.
The purpose of this guide is to provide more information on alternate bus service to and from various hospitals and medical centers in Silicon Valley.
This guide is NOT affiliated with any medical center mentioned here. As with all content here, this is NOT affiliated with the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) or any public transit agency or company mentioned in any way whatsoever. Like all of our transit guides written, it is intended to be of a public service. We are not responsible for personal safety and/or property damage as a result of the use of this guide.

Hospitals Owned by Santa Clara County
St. Louise Regional Hospital (Gilroy)
Located at 9400 No Name Uno Road in Gilroy, St. Louise Regional Hospital serves southern Santa Clara County. This hospital serves as the area’s only “comprehensive, acute-care” hospital for southern Santa Clara County.
Two local VTA bus lines serve this Regional Hospital. The 84 and 85 bus lines stop at the northern side of the hospital. The 85 serves areas in Gilroy west of Monterey Highway, while the 84 serves shopping areas like Gilroy Premium Outlets west of Monterey Highway. One bus line returns as the other at St. Louise Regional Hospital. Both bus lines terminate at the Gilroy Caltrain station. There, you can transfer to other local and regional bus lines serving Morgan Hill, San Jose, San Benito County, and beyond
