The May 1 route will run through E. Santa Clara St., Jackson St., and S. 1st St, stopping at 3 activity hubs, Mexican Heritage Plaza, Japantown, and Parque de los Pobladores.

Here are details in how VTA buses thru downtown San Jose will be rerouted on May 1 from 6am-4:30pm to allow for the VivaCalle San Jose event:
- How the 22 and 23 bus lines will be rerouted
- How the 64A and 64B bus lines will be rerouted
- How the 66 and 68 bus line will be rerouted
- How the 500 Rapid, 72 and 73 bus lines will be rerouted
- How the 522 Rapid and 523 Rapid bus lines will be rerouted
Ride any of these affected bus lines on Sunday? Add 10-15 minutes' more travel time.
