VTA Quarterly Service Changes Take Effect
February 14, 2022
All day -
Our group has learned that the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) will make the following service changes, effective February 14. The changes, according to VTA, are being made to "improve reliability."
To summarize key service changes:
- In Mountain View, due to the permanent closure of Castro St., the 21, 51/51H, and 52 bus lines will continue run on Hope St. by the Post Office.
- On Sundays, in East San Jose, the 39 bus line will have an additional later trip added.
- From Berryessa BART station, VTA will adapt the 500 Rapid bus line to accommodate service changes BART will make system-wide. This includes the expansion of Sunday service, where VTA will extend running the 500 Rapid until 2am.
