Take VTA to Milpitas or Cupertino? Face coverings in Milpitas, Palo Alto, and Cupertino are now mandatory for travel within these cities. They join Santa Cruz County, San Mateo County, and other areas where face coverings are mandatory. As of May 4, face coverings are mandatory for riding all VTA buses and light rail. VTA joins Caltrain, SamTrans, BART and other transit agencies nationwide in having a “No Mask – No Ride” policy. All of this is until further notice. All of this is until further notice.
